A walking tour that digs into Chicago’s role as a pioneer in LGBTQIA+ history, led by guide Mike McMains. The route covers about two miles through downtown, starting at Ida B. Wells Drive and ending at the Daley Center, with stops tied to stories like the country’s first gay rights organization and the first Pride Parade. On Saturday, October 10 at 10 AM, participants use their smartphones to view historical photos along the way. The tour is $25 ($22.50 for members) and includes free admission to the Chicago History Museum for one week afterward.
