Author and historian Bernard Turner leads this van tour through Bronzeville, highlighting the Walk of Fame, landmarks, and public art that tell the story of how African Americans shaped the South Side. The tour on Sunday, September 6, at noon covers the neighborhood's transformation during the Great Migration and its cultural and political legacy. The tour runs 1.5 to 2 hours and meets at the Bronzeville Black Metropolis National Heritage Area office, not the museum.
