The Heart of the Story at Fuller

The Heart of the Story brings Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre’s concert program to Fuller Park on Friday evening, July 31, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. The performance runs about 45 to 60 minutes and includes the company’s professional Dance Ensemble and Jazz Orchestra, with company members offering context and inviting audience feedback afterward. There are also interactive activities built into the evening. The program explores culture, race, and ethnicity with a welcoming, collaborative feel, and this edition features a special guest set from the Douglass Park Performing Company, whose twelve dancers present "He Turned It," choreographed by Elaine McLaurin.
