The Guild of the Chicago History Museum kicks off its season with a curator-led deep dive into *Facing Freedom*, the newly refreshed exhibition marking the 250th anniversary of the United States. Chief historian Peter T. Alter guides attendees through the stories behind the exhibition—ranging from women's suffrage to Chicago's house music scene—on Tuesday, September 29, starting at 10 AM with coffee and a presentation, followed by a boxed lunch and self-guided tour. Tickets are $95, or $85 for Guild members.
