The Artist's Studio: Awesome Abstraction—Extended Hours!

The Art Exchange in the Ryan Learning Center extends its hours on Thursdays through July, offering drop-in art-making for all ages from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This month’s project involves creating colorful abstract drawings inspired by Luchita Hurtado's work in the museum's *Beyond Form* exhibition. The activities are always free, and the museum galleries are free for Illinois residents on Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 8:00 PM through September 17, making this a natural stop before or after a gallery visit.
