Family Day: Picture This

A free drop-in book-themed afternoon at the Art Institute's Ryan Learning Center on Saturday, November 7, from 11 AM to 3 PM, timed to the release of the museum's new picture book *ABCs at the Art Institute of Chicago*. Expect art activities, live readings, and other story-spinning programming — no museum ticket required for the Ryan Learning Center itself. Bring snacks if you want; there's a classroom set aside for taking a break, and stroller parking is available. Note that entering the museum's galleries does require admission, which is free for children under 14 and Chicago teens under 18.
