The Artist's Studio at the Library

Drop into Humboldt Park on Monday, July 27, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM for a self-guided open studio session where kids ages 6 and up create abstract drawings inspired by Chicago sculptor Richard Hunt. Designed in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, the program features summer interns offering new prompts and art tools each day. It's a low-key, no-registration-required way to earn credit toward the library's Teen Pick 4 board or summer T-shirt challenge, and open to everyone regardless of whether they're enrolled in Chapters of Chicago.
