Teen Sewing Hour: Costume Edition!
Teen Sewing Hour at Harold Washington Library Center shifts to costume mode this October. On Tuesday, October 13, from 4 to 5 PM, the drop-in program for high school teens ages 13 to 19 offers sewing machines, fabrics, and construction materials — with extra supplies for Halloween costume projects. Bring your own idea or brainstorm with a librarian; sewing certification is available during the hour for anyone who needs to learn the machines. All materials provided, though you can also bring clothing or fabric from home.
