Teen Sewing Hour at Harold Washington Library Center offers a practical, low-stakes way for high school-age teens to get hands-on with textile projects. A librarian is on hand Tuesday, September 15, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM to help with anything from mending clothes to making plushies, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to level up your machine skills. All sewing materials are provided, and participants can bring clothing or projects from home. A short certification class is also available during the hour for anyone who wants to use YOUmedia's sewing machines independently afterward. This program is for teens ages 13 to 19.
