Teen Sewing Hour
A weekly drop-in sewing session for teens 13 to 19 at the Harold Washington Library Center. Participants can use library sewing machines and provided materials to work on their own projects, from mending clothes to making plushies, with a librarian on hand to help with technique. Those who want to use the machines independently can earn a sewing certification during the hour. It runs Tuesday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. Free.
