Summer Soundwalks in the Park at Big Marsh

A series of guided listening walks across six Chicago parks, led by artists and acoustic-ecology specialists. The Saturday, September 5 edition at Big Marsh Park runs from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, meeting at the pavilion. The idea is to tune into the natural and urban soundscape — a low-key, contemplative way to spend a late afternoon outside. Free, no registration required.
