STEAM Day with First Star Force
STEAM Day uses picture books as a springboard into hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities for kids ages 6 to 10. Each session begins with a read-aloud story, then moves into a related project — building an aircraft from recycled materials, creating themed artwork, or exploring a science concept. The goal is to show how ideas from favorite books connect to real-world discovery. This Monday, September 28, from 4 to 5 PM at the Daley, Richard J.–Bridgeport branch, the program is presented by First Star Force. Registration is required by the start of the event; a parent or guardian’s email address must be used, and only the attending children should be included when registering.
