STEAM Day with First Star Force

STEAM Day turns picture books into hands-on science and art projects for kids ages 6 to 10. Each session at the Daley, Richard J.—Bridgeport branch begins with a read-aloud story, then moves into a related activity — building a recycled-material aircraft, making themed artwork, or exploring a science concept. It’s a low-key introduction to STEAM thinking, designed to show how ideas from books connect to the real world. Presented by First Star Force. The workshop runs Monday, August 31, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. Registration is required by the start of the event, and a parent or guardian’s email must be used to sign up.
