Sewing Machine Basics

A practical introduction to using a sewing machine at Harold Washington Library. This class covers the core components — feed dogs, presser feet, and threading — without requiring any prior experience. It’s a focused, no-frills workshop for anyone who wants to understand how the machine actually works before tackling projects. The session runs Tuesday, September 29, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Registration is free but required in advance; sign language interpretation is available with at least 14 business days' notice.
