Seniors’ Circle: Computer Essentials

A hands-on computer course for older adults with little to no tech experience, running for 10 sessions at the Austin-Irving library in Portage Park. Using AARP’s Senior Planet curriculum, participants learn how to go online, navigate websites, perform basic web searches, use email, and practice online safety basics. The Monday afternoon session runs from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on October 26, with the full schedule of ten weekly meetings continuing from there. Co-sponsored by the library and Windy City Seniors, the program is designed to build confidence at a comfortable pace rather than rush through material.
