Saturday Studio: The Painterly Print (Oct 10)

Saturday Studio offers a hands-on printmaking workshop tied to the museum’s Mary Cassatt exhibition, led by Chicago painter Leslie Baum. Participants ages 13 and up will make their own monoprints using Cassatt’s compositions as a starting point, experimenting with cropping, simplified imagery, and expressive color. The session runs Saturday, October 10, from noon to 2 PM in Studio A at the Ryan Learning Center, and all materials—including inks and specialty paper—are covered by the registration fee. Tickets are $45 for members and $50 for nonmembers, and museum admission is not required. Tuition support is available by contacting Nancy Chen.
