RiverLab: Birding Paddle at River

A guided canoe outing on the Chicago River that pairs nicely with fall migration season, designed for birders of any skill level. The RiverLab program provides canoes, paddles, waterproof field guides, and binoculars; beginners get basic instruction and are explicitly welcome. The trip launches from the River Park Boathouse on Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM to noon. Participants should bring water, sunscreen, and comfortable clothes; cameras are fine, though personal gear comes at your own risk. Open to ages 3 and up.
