Renaissance Project Presents LEGO® Club: Meet Dr. Leonidas Berry

A LEGO Club session that doubles as a history lesson: participants learn about Dr. Leonidas Berry, a pioneering Chicago physician and founding organizer of the Flying Black Medics, then build a model plane like the ones they used. The program takes place Thursday, September 17, from 3 to 4 PM at the Garfield Ridge branch, part of the Renaissance Project series highlighting untold Black history at Chicago Public Library. Registration is required, and kids under 13 need a parent or guardian to register.
