Recreate a Famous Song
Rich Robbins of Young Chicago Authors leads a recording-studio workshop at the Harold Washington Library Center that treats a hit song like a puzzle: you take it apart, see what makes it work, then put it back together with your own stamp. The session runs Thursday, November 5, from 4:00 to 5:15 PM, and is designed for high school teens. It’s a practical, hands-on look at songcraft from someone who teaches the craft for a living.
