Read to Rover

A low-key Saturday morning option for early readers: the Beverly branch of the Chicago Public Library hosts Read to Rover on August 29 from 11 AM to 12 PM, where kids 5 and up can practice reading aloud to certified therapy dogs from Love on a Leash. The program aims to build fluency and confidence in a no-pressure setting, with Ms. Izabel on hand. Caregivers must stay with their child.
