Pulitzer On The Road: Future Pulitzer Prize Winner, Chicago Style

A free, hands-on workshop at the Harold Washington Library Center invites teens to connect with Pulitzer Prize-winning poetry and music through their own creative work. Led by artist, singer-songwriter, and educator Antonia Lucas-Ruppert, the session uses a curated playlist of influential works as a springboard for participants to craft original music that reflects their own ideas and stories. Ruppert, a Chicago native and M.F.A. graduate, brings decades of experience as both a painter and musician, with a practice rooted in themes of hope, faith, and community. The program runs Saturday, November 7, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, and space is available through active registration.
