Pickles Pickin' at Chase

The Deep Fried Pickle Project Jug Band brings a two-part workshop to Chase (Salmon) Park on Sunday, July 26, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. First, an interactive performance on homemade instruments built from upcycled materials and household objects, with explanations of the historical inspirations behind the music. Then a "make-and-take" session where attendees build a simple jug band instrument, learn a parade song, and march in the Pickle Park Parade. A hands-on afternoon for anyone curious about folk music, creative reuse, or just making a racket in the park.
