Pickles Pickin' at Chase

The Deep Fried Pickle Project Jug Band brings their hand-built, upcycled instruments to Chase (Salmon) Park on Sunday, July 26, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The afternoon starts with an interactive performance that explains how the group turns household odds and ends — including what most people call trash — into functional instruments. Afterward, attendees get to build a simple jug-band instrument of their own in a hands-on workshop, then learn a parade song and march in the Pickle Park Parade.
