Open Shop
The Harold Washington Library Center's Maker Lab opens its doors for a drop-in session on Thursday, September 24, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, where you can get a quick software overview, ask about a project, or use the laser cutter, electronic cutter, 3D printer, sewing machine, and hot glue guns. No registration required — just bring your creativity and see what's possible. If you need sign language interpretation or other accessibility accommodations, requests must be made at least 14 business days in advance by calling (312) 747-8184 or emailing access@chipublib.org.
