Open Shop

Open Shop at Harold Washington Library Center is a drop-in session for anyone curious about the library's maker tools. From 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15, staff are on hand to offer brief software overviews, help with projects, and show you what other patrons are working on. Equipment available includes a laser cutter, electronic cutter, 3D printer, sewing machine, and hot glue guns — bring your own creativity. No registration is needed, and if you prefer a structured class or need assistance, the library offers those options separately.
