NEW! Walking Tour | History of the South Loop
Local historian Greg Borzo leads a walk through the South Loop, a neighborhood that has cycled through railroads, vice, the Great Fire, Printers Row, and its current condo-filled life. The roughly 1.5-mile stroll on Sunday, August 23, at 1:00 PM departs from the Harold Washington Public Library and winds past historic buildings with commentary. The $25 ticket also includes free admission to the Chicago History Museum, good for one week; CHM members pay $22.50 and Chicago History Museum members save $2.50. It's a one-time tour.
