Nature Oasis: Community Bonfire at La Follette

An evening bonfire at La Follette Park in Austin, the latest in the Nature Oasis series that encourages neighbors to experience their local park after dark. On Wednesday, October 14, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, visitors can gather around the fire, meet neighbors, and learn a bit about local wildlife. The park district provides roasting sticks but asks attendees to bring their own marshmallows; a short campfire-building lesson happens within the first 15 minutes.
