Monday Crafternoon: Oobleck

A free after-school craft session at the West Chicago Avenue branch, where kids ages 6 to 13 can make oobleck — a non-Newtonian substance that behaves like both a liquid and a solid, a little stranger than standard slime. It runs Monday, July 27, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. Children 11 and under must come with an adult. Sign language and other accessibility accommodations are available with at least 14 business days' notice.
