Mending, Patch-making, and Decorative Embroidery

Artist Carina Vargas-Nuñez leads a hands-on mending and embroidery workshop at Humboldt Park on Saturday, December 12, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Participants learn five basic embroidery stitches and how to repair and personalize clothing through mending, patch-making, and decorative embroidery. Bring a damaged or well-loved garment to give new life. Registration is required.
