A free, education-only seminar on how Medicare actually works, led by David Tucci of LifeSmart Senior Services. The session covers the basics for people approaching 65, longtime enrollees who want to sort through their options, and adults helping senior parents navigate the system. It’s a practical, no-pressure overview timed for the Annual Enrollment Period, which runs October 15 through December 7. The talk takes place Thursday, November 12, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Belmont. Sign language interpretation and other accessibility accommodations are available with at least 14 business days’ notice by calling (312) 747-8184 or emailing access@chipublib.org.
