Medicare 101

Medicare 101 is a practical primer for anyone approaching 65, already on Medicare but unsure of their options, or helping older parents navigate the system. Medicare Teacher Nancy De Lira, a Norwood Park resident, leads the session on Thursday evening, October 15, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The presentation covers the differences between Medicare Parts and Plans, how to compare Advantage and Supplement options, the basics of Part D prescription coverage, and how the Inflation Reduction Act affects plans starting in 2023. The timing aligns with the Annual Enrollment Period, which runs October 15 through December 7.
