Lozano hosts a bilingual afternoon exploring the history of the Traqueros — the Mexican and Mexican American railroad workers who laid tracks across the United States and built homes and communities in abandoned rail cars. On Saturday, November 21, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the program includes a model train display by the Valley Model Railroad Club, story time for children, and historical lectures for adults. It's a focused, family-friendly tribute to labor history and Mexican American identity, funded by the Chicago Public Library Foundation. Free.
