
Loop Arts Fest: Music in the Lobby
Loop Arts Fest brings three distinct sets to the Harold Washington Library Center on Saturday, October 17, from 11 AM to 3:30 PM. The afternoon opens with Jazzman Ray on saxophone (11 AM–12:30 PM), followed by Crossing Borders Music performing a string-quartet program of songs from Cambodia, Peru, Haiti, Myanmar, and Taiwan (1–2 PM), then wraps with DJ Closed Stacks spinning pop with an emphasis on Chicago artists (2:30–3:30 PM). A free, indoor alternative to the street festival, with accessibility accommodations available by request at least 14 business days ahead.
