Library Explorers Club: Lincoln Belmont Branch

The Library Explorers Club is a monthly program that visits a different Chicago Public Library branch each time, combining a low-key group run or walk with a behind-the-scenes tour and quiet reading time. On Saturday, December 19, from 1:30 to 4:00 PM, the stop is the Lincoln Belmont branch in Lakeview. Participants can join for any part of the afternoon: a run or walk at a gentle pace with Read & Run Chicago, a staff-led introduction to the branch, or simply some reading time with light snacks. No library expertise or fitness level required — the tone is explicitly non-judgmental and welcoming to newcomers. Free and open to all.
