Learn to Make Groutless Mosaics on Mirror with Julie Mars

Exhibiting artist Julie Mars leads a workshop on groutless mosaic technique at Harold Washington Library Center on Saturday, December 5, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Participants practice basic glass tile mosaic on a mirror and receive a take-home handout for continuing the craft independently. Mars, a School of the Art Institute graduate and longtime arts promoter, works from an environmentalist and upcycling perspective; her related exhibition *Visions in Glass* runs in the library's eighth-floor cases through December 26. Accessibility accommodations require 14 business days' notice.
