Learn to Lead Climb at Steelworkers

A four-hour lead-climbing workshop at Steelworkers Park for intermediate climbers comfortable on 5.8+ routes. Participants learn the essentials of sport lead climbing and lead belaying, including proper use and placement of quick draws and how to clean a route. The class meets Friday, September 11, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, and is open to climbers age 16 and up who already confidently belay on top rope.
