Just Roots Volunteer Workday

C3, the Chicago Conservation Corps program based at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, runs a volunteer workday at Saint James Community Farm in partnership with Just Roots. On Saturday, July 25, from 9:30 AM to noon, volunteers help with farm maintenance at the South Side site (not the museum itself). Dress for mud and closed-toed shoes, bring a water bottle and snack, and plan to pack out your own waste. The work happens rain or shine, participants under 18 must come with an adult, and registration unlocks access to future C3 volunteer days and workshops. Free.
