Jazz Institute of Chicago presents: Lost in Space with Kevin King
Chicago woodwindist and composer Kevin King brings his *Lost in Space* series to the Brainerd branch on Saturday, October 17, from 11 AM to noon. Inspired by astronomy and the musicians who embody the idea of space, King performs original compositions that reflect how human experience echoes in the cosmos. An alumnus of the Jazz Institute of Chicago's Jazz Links program, and someone who has played with everyone from Arturo Sandoval to Buddy Guy, King offers a rare, intimate concert that pairs naturally with this year's One Book, One Chicago selection, *Orbital*. Free and open to all; registration requested.
