The Brainerd Bakers: Chicago Bakes Edition

A new monthly baking meetup launches at the Brainerd Branch, kicking off with a Chicago-themed edition on Tuesday, August 4, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Bakers of any skill level are welcome to bring a sweet or savory baked good connected to the city, past or present — think atomic cake, brownies, or even a homemade Twinkie. The series aims to explore Chicago's baking history through the flavors that have stuck around.
