Introduction to Screen Printing

A hands-on introduction to screen printing, taught in partnership with Somos Arte Chicago and offered in Spanish. Over 90 minutes on Saturday, August 1, from noon to 1:30 PM at Archer Heights, participants learn the full process — from designing a simple print to transferring it onto a silk screen and pressing it onto an old garment or blank piece of clothing. Bring something from home to print on. Registration is required; accessibility requests need at least 14 business days' notice.
