Explore themes of home, identity, memories and cultural heritage through a hands-on scrap collage inspired by the multimedia works of Destyni “Desi” Swoope. Using a variety of paper and fabric scraps, participants will create collages that reflect personal stories, memories, and connections to home. Inspired by her installation Abuela's House at the National Puerto Rican Museum, this program celebrates cultural inheritance, craftsmanship, and creative expression. No previous art experience is necessary.
