Insect Pinning: Monarch Butterfly & Chrysalis Vial Making

A two-part workshop at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum that combines insect pinning with mindful crafting, timed to the monarch butterfly's fall migration. On Saturday, September 5, from 10 AM to noon, Domingo of RIP Repurposed leads a chrysalis intention vial-making session (10-11 AM) and a monarch butterfly pinning workshop (11 AM-noon); you can register for either part or both, with pricing ranging from $45 to $110. All sustainably sourced specimens and materials are provided, and admission includes access to the museum's Flutter Into Fall event and the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven. Family and Family+ members get discounted pricing on the class.
