Hoop Dancing with Starr Chief Eagle at Seward

Starr Chief Eagle brings an interactive exploration of Lakota culture to Seward Park on Saturday, October 17, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Her presentation covers Lakota language, art, and knowledge, culminating in a performance of the rare Hoop Dancing tradition, where she uses up to 22 hoops to form designs and shapes that tell a story. Audience members can volunteer for hands-on activities during the show.
