Homeschool Neighbors

Homeschool Neighbors is an informal meet-up at the Logan Square branch for both new and experienced homeschooling families. Attendees can learn about library resources, from getting a library card and using educational databases to requesting materials and finding out about library events. Students get a chance to share what they’ve been learning in a group setting, and dramatic play or art materials may be supplied for the younger set. The gathering runs Tuesday afternoon, October 27, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM, and suits kids ages 3 to 13. Registration is optional but recommended by the start of the event; parents or guardians must use their own email to sign up.
