Scopes in the City with the Adler Planetarium

Educators from the Adler Planetarium bring filtered telescopes to Logan Square on Tuesday afternoon, July 28, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM for safe solar observation. They're on hand to answer space-related questions, and the event is open to all ages. It takes place outdoors, so plan for standing in the sun; if weather forces a move indoors, related activities will replace the telescope viewing. Sign language interpretation and other accessibility accommodations are available with 14 business days' notice.
