Hispanic Heritage Month: Papel Picado Workshop

A hands-on papel picado workshop at Humboldt Park, part of Chicago Public Library’s Hispanic Heritage Month programming. Participants cut colorful designs from construction paper and string, drawing on imagery and symbols from across Latin America. The session runs Saturday, October 3, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM. Registration is required by the start of the event, and note that kids under 13 need a parent or guardian’s email address to sign up.
