Hide and Seek: Nature’s Hidden Gems at Ken-Well
Hide and Seek: Nature's Hidden Gems at Ken-Well turns a Tuesday afternoon in Hermosa into a roaming art-and-nature exploration. On August 18 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, performers dressed as woodland creatures guide visitors through interactive stations scattered across Ken-Well Park — think a snail-paced race, a worm observation spot, a goose-puppet follow-the-leader, plant-press bookmark making, animal-puppet storytelling, and a scavenger hunt for a hidden gem. Live music responds to participant suggestions about their favorite tree, bug, or flower. The whole thing is designed to slow down and notice the small world around you, with art-making and face painting woven in.
