Hide and Seek: Nature’s Hidden Gems at Ken-Well
Hide and Seek: Nature's Hidden Gems turns Ken-Well Park into an interactive outdoor gallery on Tuesday, August 18, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Puppeteers, musicians, and visual artists, each dressed as a woodland creature, run stations that invite participants to notice small things: a snail's pace race, a worm observation spot, a goose puppet follow-the-leader, bookmark-making with pressed plants, animal storytelling, a scavenger hunt, and face painting. Live music responds to themes suggested by visitors — favorite trees, bugs, flowers, or animals. Produced by Opera-Matic, the event is a gentle, artful way to spend a late summer afternoon in Hermosa.
