Gamer's Universe Showdown Series

The Gamer's Universe Showdown Series brings monthly esports tournaments to the Harold Washington Library Center, with this November edition featuring a Mario Kart 64 tournament at noon, Tekken 8 at 2 PM, and Splatoon 3 matches running throughout the day (arrive early for a spot). The Chicago Teen Gamer's Guild runs the event, so players should bring their own Switch, game copy, headset, and controller; free-play stations with competitive and non-competitive games are set up as well. No registration is needed, and all ages and skill levels are welcome. The series runs on Saturday, November 21, from 11 AM to 4 PM.
