From the Stacks to the Streets: Chicago’s Cultural Mile Walking Tour
A librarian-led walking tour of Chicago’s Cultural Mile, drawing on historic photographs and the Chicago Collection at the Harold Washington Library Center. The roughly one-mile route along Michigan Avenue stops at several cultural landmarks, with guides sharing the stories behind the buildings rather than just their architecture. The tour departs from the library on Wednesday, November 18, at 10 AM and runs about 75 minutes. Registration is required.
